A humanoid robot that has carried more than 100,000 plastic totes around a warehouse in Flowery Branch, Georgia, is about to get colleagues. On 26 October GXO and Agility Robotics said that Digit will be deployed at two more GXO sites, in Statesville, North Carolina, and Lebanon, Tennessee, from early 2027. The robots will start as Digit 4 and move to Digit 5 when the newer model becomes commercially available.
